位於台南公園、市立圖書館旁的一尊連雅堂雕像，昨天上午被人將整個臉部「抹紅」，由於國民黨前主席連戰出席大陸九三大閱兵，引發國內輿論抨擊，時機敏感，台南警方接獲報案後，已著手偵辦中。

連雅堂是連戰的爺爺，這尊銅像設置多年，今年二月，就曾遭人以黑漆塗上「一流藥頭」、「三流史家」，甚至出現過「先人媚日、後人媚共、子孫不肖」等子句，引發網友關注。

昨天在臉書社團「爆料公社」中，一名網友指出，他曾直擊一名白衣男子疑似為了洩憤，到台南公園，爬上連雅堂銅像基座，對銅像動手腳。
